Gorge FB picOwners (and exceptional Chefs) Elia Aboumrad and Uyen Nguyen are why Gorge, a warm and personal eatery, continues to surpass the expectations of those who walk through its doors. Numerous magazine and newspaper articles, blogs, dining websites and Yelp show just how amazing this little place on W. Sunset Blvd is.

In case you’re wondering, Charcuterie is the branch of cooking devoted to prepared meat products. Gorge’s French inspired menu that includes Cornish Hen, Wild Salmon, house-made Sausage, Pork Shank and Pheasant will make anyone’s dinner memorable.  To make it even more memorable, give the dessert menu a peek. My knees get weak just looking at a picture of the St. Honore’, a cream-filled choux puff lavished with Chantilly, named for the French patron saint of bakers and pastry chefs.

Like any traditional French restaurant, the wine is aplenty. No reason to feel intimidated as Master Sommelier Darius Allyn will help steer you in the right direction.  Gorge is a wonderful place to be introduced to French fare, revisit the flavors of your favorite French entrees, or just sip good wine.
